Milan, 27 March 2013 – Following the agreement announced to the market last July 9, 2012, Maire Tecnimont announces that today took place the closing of the transaction for the sale of the Brazilian special purpose company Mabe Construcao e Administracao de Projectos LTDA (“Mabe”) by Tecnimont do Brasil and Efacec do Brasil to MPX Energia SA and EDP Energias do Brasil. Mabe is the contractor of the 3 Brazilian power projects called Pecem I, Pecem II and Itaqui.
