Milan, 10 October 2013 – In relation to the disposal of the Group stakes in infrastructure and civil engineering projects, as disclosed to the market on 17 June 2013, and in line with the Group focus on oil, gas and petrochemicals core business, Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. informs that the sale of the approximately 40% stake held by its subsidiary Tecnimont Civil Construction S.p.A. in CMT (Copenhagen Metro Team I/S) to Salini S.p.A. (as a result of the termination of the agreement with Impregilo S.p.A.) has been completed today.
CMT is the general contractor for the construction of the Copenhagen underground.
The transaction value is equal to nearly €15 million.
Banca IMI and Lombardi Molinari e Associati Law Firm have been the advisors for the aforesaid transaction.
