Fabrizio Di Amato, Assolombarda Vice President for Energy, Clusters, Supply Chains and Research Studies presented the Libro Bianco “Il Futuro dell’energia” (“ The Future of Energy”)
The first of a 5 book series, issued by Assolombarda, with a vertical approach on the topic, “The Future of Energy” sets the ambitious goal of defining nine specific industrial policy proposals that can support companies in the processes of innovation for the energy transition.
The press conference was also an opportunity to underline the importance of the complex energy supply chain, which combines several industrial segments (from components, to engineering and construction services, to production, sales and distribution) and that in Italy represents about 62 billion euros of added value to the overall economy for 601 thousand total employees, and in Lombardy 11 billion for 93 thousand employees.
These are significant results for an ecosystem of Italian excellences that play a key role also in global markets and that need clear and targeted policies to get properly enhanced.
