Milan, January 23rd, 2020 - Our Chairman Fabrizio di Amato participated in the eighth edition of the conference "Il mondo nel 2020: opportunità e rischi per le imprese" which was held at the Auditorium of Assolombarda, Milan. The conference was organized within the framework of the Geoeconomics Observatory promoted by ISPI - Institute for International Political Studies and Intesa Sanpaolo, in collaboration with Sace.
The meeting was attended by high representatives of the Italian industry and politics: Alberto Bombassei, Chairman of Brembo, Silvia Candiani, CEO at Microsoft Italy, Roberto Gavazzi, CEO at Boffi, Marco Sesana, CEO at Generali Italia, Giampiero Massolo, Chairman of ISPI and Fincantieri, and Manlio Di Stefano, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Among the topics covered during the panel, significant reflections emerged about how the complexity of the current geopolitical scenarios influences the business strategies of companies.
Fabrizio Di Amato underlined how important it is today for an entrepreneur to be able to react quickly to changes in political balances: "The energy sector plays a key role in global structures. Maire Tecnimont Group, enabler of industrialization in the countries in which it operates, can be a lever for competitiveness, growth and development".
