15 March 2019 – Maire Tecnimont participated to the First Eurasian Dialogue, ‘Connecting Eurasia: from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean’, today in Bruxelles.
The initiative aimed at promoting informal dialogue on economic, trade, and integration issues among the main Euro-Asian stakeholders, including European Union, Eurasian Economic Union, and China. Key representatives from European Commission, industrial associations and business community attended the event, which represented an occasion of specific discussion, among other topics, on strategies to enhance Euro-Asian connectivity in transport and energy. Pierroberto Folgiero, Maire Tecnimont Group CEO, was among the speakers at the Forum and he noted that “We have been working in Russia since ages. Today we are evolving our way to work in EURASIA first of all understanding more and more the local manufacturing environment. In terms of supply chain, it is not as it was in the past. We need to get into real local content investing in the human capital and enhancing procurement capability in the area”.
